Super Sacred Valley: leaves at 06:20, back at 19:00
Chinchero, the Maras Salt Mines, Moray, buffet lunch in Urubamba, Ollantaytambo and Pisac in a single day. Same group, guide and lunch as the Traditional; the difference is Maras and Moray.
The route, in the real order of the day
You first climb to the Chinchero plateau, then drop into the valley via Maras and Moray; that's why the day's highest point comes at 07:40 and the afternoon is spent lower than Cusco. The two morning stops in detail, in Moray and Maras in one day.
The buffet lunch is at 12:00 in Urubamba (2,871 m), the lowest point of the route along with Ollantaytambo. Cusco sits at 3,350 m: only Chinchero, Maras and Moray are higher.
